Ultrathin absorber metasurfaces for photothermal conversion using split ring resonator arrays
30 January 2025 • 2:00 PM - 2:20 PM PST | Moscone South, Room 70 (Lower Mezz)
Abstract
We report an ultrathin absorber with a resonance at 740.4 nm, a narrow linewidth of 0.23 nm, and a high-quality factor Q = 3291. Optimization of the unit cell periodicity demonstrates 504 nm as the ideal design, balancing high absorption (60%) and quality factor, making it suitable for photothermal conversion applications.
