Abstract
Rubin Observatory Dome was designed and built by EIE Ground Technologies Srl - Company of EIE GROUP with headquarters in Venice-Mestre, Italy. The Design Phase was completed in February 2016. On-site activities started in the spring of 2017. The Dome is approaching the final completion of testing and integration.
The Dome utilizes a steel structure. This supports a bi-parting, two door aperture, a uniquely designed moving Light Windscreen, a Light Baffled Louver System, an overhead bridge crane, a rear access door and numerous platforms. In this paper, we present the status of the final assembly, integration and testing.
