Conference Timeline and Deadlines

14 May 2018	Call for Papers Proposal Worksheets due. New and cancelled conferences must submit a proposal. Contact the Conference Program Coordinator for more information.
21 May 2018	Chairs submit Call for Papers to Conference Program Coordinator
18 June 2018	SPIE posts Call for Papers online
3 October 2018	Due date for authors to submit abstracts via http://spie.org/dcs
8 October 2018	Chairs propose Short Courses for Education Program
29 October 2018	Chairs submit Advance Program to Conference Program Coordinator
10 December 2018	SPIE notifies authors of acceptance and posts advance program online
4 February 2019	Student Authors submit Student Grant Application online
11 February 2019	Chairs confirm Final Program with Conference Program Coordinator
20 March 2019	Authors submit manuscript for all conferences
14-18 April 2019	Conference held Sunday through Thursday in Baltimore, MD USA
2 weeks after meeting	Chairs complete Manuscript Reviews and submit Introduction to Proceedings
