Versatile wavefront metrology tool for EUCLID telescope and space applications

17 June 2024 • 13:20 - 13:35 Japan Standard Time | Room G214, North - 2F

Abstract

We designed and manufactured two OGSE dedicated to the alignment of the EUCLID telescope. These two wavefront-based platforms, set on hexapods, have been used to measure the transmitted WFE in the VIS path and the NISP path of the EUCLID payload. We present the OGSE and more specifically the Imagine Optic R-FLEX platforms. Some wavefront error maps obtained by ADS team during the AIT campaign in Toulouse are discussed.

Guillaume is the technical manager of Imagine Optic. He leads a team of 20 people focused on the design of Shack-Hartmann wavefront sensors, deformable mirrors and associated software. Since more than 15 years he’s involved in all the metrology projects dedicated to space telescope alignment and characterization. For the EUCLID telescope, he designed the wavefront sensors and participated to the telescope alignment.
