Dr. William A. Hoey

Dr. William Hoey is a technologist in the Propulsion, Materials and Thermal Engineering section at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory where he leads research and analysis tasks and develops a robust set of physics-based modeling tools for gas and fluid dynamic simulations across space industry applications. Dr. Hoey has supported flight projects and proposals including the NASA Europa Clipper, Mars 2020 Perseverance, NEO-S and Psyche missions and lunar Gateway project; the Europa Lander and Mars Sample Return mission concepts; and external collaborations with commercial spaceflight and lunar landing providers.
