Ryo Murakami

Ryo Murakami is a Ph.D. student at the Medical FUSION Laboratory, Robotics Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. His research focuses on the combination of photoacoustic/ultrasound technology and control theory to improve image-guided treatment/diagnosis. Prior to joining the Medical FUSION Laboratory, he worked in clinical sciences at Boston Scientific Japan K.K. and business development at Zimmer Biomet G.K. He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering at Osaka University, Japan.
