Profile Summary

I did my bachelors degree in Electronic Engineering in Guadalajara, Mexico and I worked for Intel as a Hardware Design Engineer for ~4 years in the Advanced Platform Division. There, I learned about "Silicon Photonics", so I figured the specialization was in Optics and Photonics.

I moved to Germany in 2014 for my master's degree in Optics and Photonics, and I found a job in the 2-photon lithography business thanks to a friend of mine working as a Field Engineer who I met back when I was working with the Optics Students Karlsruhe chapter, as part of the Karlsruhe School of Optics and Photonics in Karlsruhe. I am focusing on tool development, user training, process development and general field service work.

On my free time, I am a self-published writer (working on my second book now); a solo multi-instrumentalist (working on new music for a while now); and I paint with oil and watercolor (and planning to attend a large art exhibition in the near future).

I cook at home on my free time and get angry at video games for not being easy.
