Franco Frattolillo received the Laurea degree (Hons.) in Electronic Engineering from the University of Napoli "Federico II", Naples, Italy, in 1990 and the Ph.D. degree in "Computer engineering, applied electromagnetics, and telecommunications" from the University of Salerno, Salerno, Italy.
He was a Researcher with the Department of Electrical and Information Engineering at the University of Salerno from 1991 to 1998. In 1999, he joined the Department of Engineering at the University of Sannio, Benevento, Italy, where he taught advanced topics in computer networks, network security, high-performance computing systems, and system programming. He was a Research Leader with the Research Centre on Software Technology at the University of Sannio. He is an Associate Professor at the Department of Engineering of Univerity of Sannio. He has written several papers in the areas of network and multimedia security. His research interests also include cluster and grid computing, metacomputing, and parallel programming systems.
