Prof. Chengbo Liu

Chengbo Liu received both his Ph.D and Bachelor degree from Xi'an Jiaotong University, each in 2012 in Biophysics and 2007 in Biomedical Engineering. During his Ph.D. training, he spent two years doing tissue spectroscopy research at Duke University as a visiting scholar. Now he is an associate professor at SIAT, working on multi-scale photoacoustic molecular imaging and its translational research. He and his team have published more than 80 journal papers on photoacoustic imaging, and applied for more than 30 patents. He is currently a senior member of OSA and SPIE. He also serves as an editorial board member of Photoacoustic journal, and regular reviewer for more than 30 prestigious journals.
