Dr. Angela Cortes

I have been working on Instrumentation for Astronomy since 2003, dedicated my Ph.D. on Adaptive Optics and developed an embedded system to measure the turbulence profiling using the information from the WFS and estimating not only the turbulence, but also the wind profiling plus dome seeing. Worked on the alignment integration and test of an infrared spectrograph for an 8m telescope, and now working as System Engineer at ESO for the VLT and ELT instruments.
