Agnes Hübscher

As Senior Director Global Strategic Marketing Agnes advises the company to chose the right products, markets and application fields, initiates the corresponding marketing and communication measures and collaborates with societies from the industry globally. Before taking on that role Agnes built up a European marketing team and was responsible for all marketing activities in the region including tradeshows, advertising, customer mailings, email campaigns, and more. Together with her team she worked closely with the headquarters in the US and global representations. Agnes has extensive experience in the marketing and sales of industrial optics and opto-electronic components working in the field of public relations, investor relations, sales & marketing in that industry for almost 25 years. Agnes received a Master’s Degree in Intercultural Business Management/Business Administration from Friedrich-Schiller University Jena in Germany and has spent some time abroad. During her career Agnes has been engaged in various industry initiatives, supported SPIE and is involved in society work in region. Agnes is also part of the European Leadership team of Edmund Optics and supports the development of the company throughout EMEA and abroad.
