BELLINGHAM, Washington, USA — SPIE, the international society for optics and photonics, is pleased to announce a three-year "Read and Publish" agreement with the Centre National Universitaire de Documentation Scientifique et Technique (CNUDST).

The agreement, which began on 1 January, gives all authors at affiliated academic and research institutions in Tunisia read access to all SPIE journals and proceedings, and unlimited open-access publishing in all SPIE journals with no article-processing fees.

The SPIE Digital Library comprises more than 530,000 publications covering topical areas ranging from biomedical optics and neuroscience, to physics and astronomy-related technology.

"We are very excited that researchers in Tunisia now have access to research and unlimited open-access publishing in the SPIE Digital Library," noted SPIE International Sales and Subscription Manager Andy Wallis. "This agreement will add greater visibility for authors and their work."
