    Join us online for the Digital Forum

    This is the most prestigious event for developers of ground- and space-based telescopes, the supporting technologies, and the latest instrumentation.

     • More than 2,500 researchers and team leaders will meet to discuss the status of ongoing and future telescope projects. These instrumentation engineers could use your company’s products and support as they address a range of technology challenges. In fact, more than half of attendees surveyed self-identified as influencing purchasing decisions.
     • Five days of presentations and special events offer opportunities for interaction with potential customers. 

    Engage in the Digital Forum

    These platforms are part of the SPIE Digital Forum experience. Get the best engagement with attendees: take time learn more about these tools. Don't miss an opportunity to share your company's mission and talent with this highly engaged astrophotonics community.

       • SPIE Conference App: Access everything happening in the Digital Forum. Enjoy the event on your smartphone or tablet on the go.
       • SPIE Connect: A new virtual booth option that allows event attendees to have one-on-one interactions with exhibitors through text and video chats.
       • Slack: A channel-based messaging platform, used for commenting during the SPIE Digital Forum. Channels will be set up for each exhibitor product demo video so that you can answer attendee questions. 

       • Zoom: A virtual conferencing tool.

    Exhibitors: Follow these steps

    1. Manage your general event listing

    A general listing appears online for your company and in the event app.

    Using the Exhibitor Dashboard (SPIE login required), upload:

       • Company description
       • Contact information

    2. Enhance your exhibitor listing page

    We are excited to offer new enhanced exhibitor pages with features to increase visibility, as well as networking chat sessions. Help us build out your enhanced exhibitor listing, which will provide your company a unique web presence with these features: 

       • Exhibitor listing page
       • Banner image (950px by 150px) and URL
       • Company YouTube video ad
       • One-on-one video or chat connections (SPIE Connect is only open during the event)

    Important Dates

    Registration Opens 12 November 2020
    Digital Forum Dates, Staff your Booth! 14 - 18 December 2020

    3. Register

    Registration is free. All exhibitor staff need to register in order to access their booth functionality, to attend all live events, and to view all event papers, posters, and presentations.

    Registration will open in November. 

    4. Plan to be active

    When the Digital Forum opens, you will be able to use SPIE Connect to have live conversations via video and / or chat. 

    5. Promote your involvement with the Digital Forum

    Your product listing is now a beautiful enhanced listing page, complete with a graphic banner at the top of the page, a full description and booth schedule, an embedded company ad video, and a product demo video. It's time to:  

       • Share your page on social media
       • Invite colleagues to visit your page and to register for the Digital Forum

    6. Reach out to attendees on Slack

    Slack is a channel-based messaging platform that is being used for commenting during SPIE Digital Forums. Anyone registered for the event and signed in to their SPIE account can comment on all papers, posters, presentations, and product demonstrations during the week using their SPIE event Slack account.     7. Attend live events in Zoom

    With your registration, you will have access to all live activities, where you can collaborate with colleagues and engage with new customers. Live events will be happening throughout the week. You will see this icon associated with any scheduled, live events:


    For plenary and technical events that have already occurred, any presentation recordings will be made available, and the link below will display.
