Tech Days annually summarizes the USA Government's investment strategies and activities in developing technology for any application (telescopes, imaging systems, seeker/trackers, high-energy laser systems, solar energy, etc.) which requires optical components. The event covers technology investment efforts in: optical materials; substrate design and manufacture; optical fabrication and metrology technology; optical coatings; wavefront sensing and control via adaptive optics; nano-technology imaging technologies; and more.
The Tech Day ITAR Sessions are open to all USA Persons (citizens and green card holders). Because we are in a hotel venue this year, we will need to check ITAR eligibility on-site at the registration table. Documentation which qualifies you to attend the ITAR session includes: US Passport, US Government Civil Servant ID, copy of Birth Certificate, Green Card, or Visit Authorization letter from your Security Officer.
