Photron will showcase its FASTCAM Mini UX100 camera, which features a CMOS image sensor, at SPIE Photonics West, 7-12 February in San Francisco.
The camera's 1.3 MPixel CMOS image sensor achieves a frame rate of 4,000 fps at full resolution and a maximum frame rate of 800,000 at a reduced resolution of 640 x 8. In addition, the camera features 10 µm pixel size, a GigE interface, and a global electronic shutter that can operate down to 1 µs to provide blur-free, black and white imagery with 12-bit pixel depth (36-bit for color version).
FASTCAM Mini UX100 cameras are suitable for use in life sciences, off board automotive testing, or ballistic testing.
