Damián Pitalúa-García did his PhD in Quantum Theory and Information, in the Centre for Quantum Information and Foundations, University of Cambridge, supervised by Professor Adrian Kent. After working as a postdoc in the Free University of Brussels and in the University of Paris Diderot, Damián went back to Cambridge to join the Quantum Communications Hub, where his research has focused on practical implementations of mistrustful quantum cryptography.
