Profile Summary

Saman is a dual-Master’s educated professional in Mecanical and Civil Engineering. He got his Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering. Currently, Saman is pursuing his PhD in Structural Engineering at Florida International University. His PhD researches have been sponsored by the United States Department of Transportation (USDOT) and Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT).

As a multi-disciplined engineer, he has been author/co-author of more than 30 papers in international journals and refereed conference proceedings in the area of:
-Fourth Revolution in Non-Destructive Evaluation (NDE 4.0),
-Self-powered Structural Health Monitoring Systems,
-Highly Efficient Energy Harvesting Mechanisms,
-Smart Structures and Materials,
-Self-powered Flexible Sensors,
-Mechanical Metamaterials,
-Additive Manufacturing,
-FRP Composites.
