Profile Summary

I have worked in the infrared camera industry since 1999. For most of my time at FLIR, I developed radiometric infrared camera systems and long range multi sensor camera systems for border security

Before working in industry, I was a postdoctoral fellow at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and my work was centered around AMANDA, a cosmic neutrino telescope at the South Pole.

My present work at FLIR in 2021 is on implementations of automatic target recognition systems for airborne infrared cameras. I am also working on Multispectral camera systems for target segmentation and classification.

I also run a small business developing and selling semi-custom ultraviolet camera systems, and another small business as a performer using high-voltage systems for entertainment.
