Dr. Thomas Benoy

Thomas Benoy hails from Kerala, a state which runs along the south west coast of India. He completed his 5 Year Integrated Master's Degree in Photonics at Cochin University of Science and Technology in the year 2012, with the master's project done at the University of St. Andrews. He started his Ph.D. in the gas sensing group at the Center for Microsystems and Photonics in November 2012. His research areas are spectroscopy and laser systems. He enjoys playing football, reading and is looking forward to visit the Scottish wildlife in his free time.
