Profile Summary

Dr. Dana is an independent technology consultant, evaluating technologies and identifying relevant markets, assisting Venture Capital Funds in their investment portfolio selection process, as well as supporting start-up companies, SMEs and VC’s portfolio companies in their subsequent stages of business development, helping drive partnerships and commercialize their technologies.

He also serves as Technical Expert with the European Investment Bank, as well as Expert Evaluator with the European Commission, evaluating proposals and monitoring projects.

Dr. Dana has extensive international experience with over 25 years of experience in technology management and business development, advisory and entrepreneurial experience, combined with in-depth technical expertise. His areas of expertise are nanotechnologies, semiconductor processing and semiconductor capital equipment including lithography and metrology, micro-fabrication and their enabled technologies, MEMs, materials and thin films.

Prior to consulting, Dr. Dana was Senior Product Manager at ASML, a semiconductor equipment company. In this role he established a worldwide consortium for the development of advanced photolithography technology and successfully negotiated multi-million dollar contract agreements with the leading integrated circuit manufacturers, logic and memory device manufacturers and foundries.

Before joining ASML, Dr. Dana held various managerial positions at Orbot-Applied Materials in New Product Development, guiding both the tool development, the implementation of Beta-site and the technology transfer. Later he was engaged in New Business Development where he identified the capabilities of emerging technologies to support the Semiconductor Industry Association Technology roadmap.

Previously, he co-founded ZIKIT, a technology start-up in Israel, where he created a novel Man Machine Interface concept. In this role he was involved in all aspects of business development from securing seed
