Dr. Paul Kumar Upputuri is a Research fellow at Harvard University, United States. He has more than ten years of postdoctoral experience in Optics and Photonics Research. Prior to joining Harvard University, he was a research fellow at Nanyang Technological University for five and half years and at National University of Singapore for about three years. He obtained his PhD in Physics (Applied Optics) from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras. Paul has contributed more than 100 papers including 56 papers in international journals, and one book (published by SPIE). He participated in more than twenty international conferences and received several best paper awards. His research contributions are published in journals like Nature Communications, Nano Letters, Optics Letters, Optics Express, Biomedical Optics Express, Journal of Biomedical Optics, Optics and lasers in engineering, Advanced Materials, ACS Nano, Nano Research, Nanomedicine and Nanobiotechnology, etc. His areas of expertise include Optics, Photonics, Photoacoustics, Biomedical imaging, Super-resolution microscopy, Multi-photon microscopy, RGB interferometry. As a member, he involved in several optical societies namely SPIE, OSA, Optics and Photonics Society of Singapore (OPSS), Optical Society of India (OSI) and Indian Laser Association (ILA). Since 2006, he has been actively involved in SPIE as a Student member, Individual member, Chapter officer, Author, Reviewer, Scholarship committee, etc. His publications citations reached more than ~2600, h-index ~28, and i10-index ~47.
