Dr. Paul is a researcher at Harvard University, Boston, United States. He obtained his PhD in Physics (Optics) from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras. He has more than fifteen years of research experience in optics and photonics areas, especially in developing advanced optical instruments and techniques for biomedical imaging applications. Paul has contributed more than fifty peer-reviewed journal papers in optics and photonics areas, and one book (published by SPIE). Presented more than forty papers in twenty international conferences and received several best paper awards. His areas of expertise/interest include developing novel optics/light-based technology for biomedical and medical applications. His research contributions are published in Nature Commun., Nano Letters, ACS Nano, Advanced Materials, Nanomedicine and Nanobiotechnology, Optics Letters, Optics Express, Biomedical Optics Express, etc. He has been serving several professional optical societies namely OSA, SPIE, and elected as a senior member of SPIE. His publications total citations reached more than ~3400, h-index ~30, and i10-index ~48.
