Profile Summary

Norifumi Kawabata received the B.E., M.E. degrees in the Intellectual Information Engineering from University of Toyama, Japan, in 2011, and 2013, respectively. Since 2013, he entranced into Ph.D. course in the Information Platform Group, Department of Information Engineering, Graduate School of Information Science in Nagoya University. He received the Ph.D. of Information Science from Nagoya University, Japan, in March 2017, respectively. Since April 2017 to March 2018, he was studying as a Research Fellow, Center for Frontier Medical Engineering (CFME), Chiba University. Since April 2018 to March 2019, he was supporting as an Assistant Technical Staff of transportation and information systems in the Center of Innovation (COI) research, the Institutes of Innovation for Future Society, Nagoya University. Since April 2019 to July 2021, he educated and researched on computer sciences in the Department of Information Sciences, Faculty of Science and Technology, Tokyo University of Science as an Assistant Professor. Since August 2021 to September 2021, he was supporting as an Assistant Technical Staff of a study on medical information system of smart hospital in the Medical IT Center, Nagoya University Hospital. Since October 2021 to present, he educate and research on mathematical and data science (of image processing) in the Education and Research Center for Mathematical and Data Science, Hokkaido University as a Specially Appointed Assistant Professor. His main interest is on computational imaging.
