I am a final year Ph.D. student at the Centre for Organic Photonics and Electronics (COPE), School of Chemistry and Molecular Biosciences, The University of Queensland, Australia. My research interest involves fundamental understanding of explosive molecules diffusion into the sensing films and how interaction occurs between the chromophores and explosive molecules. During my masters degree I studied growth mechanism of conductive polymer in vapour phase polymerization and developed a nano-scale patterning method via self-assembled monolayers. I have been awarded with an International Postgraduate Research Scholarship and the University of Queensland Centennial Scholarship for Ph.D. study. I achieved his master degree in advanced materials engineering from Kookmin University, South Korea and my bachelor degree in chemistry from the Department of Chemistry, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. I had obtained a fellowship provided by the Ministry of Science and Technology/Korea Science and Engineering Foundation through the Center for Materials and Processes of Self-Assemble (CMPS) for a 2-year period from September 1, 2008 through August 31, 2010 to support my master degree.
