James Van Rens

James Van Rens has been with Riegl USA Inc. for over a decade. He joined Riegl USA in 1997 as vice president and in 2009 Mr. Van Rens was promoted to president. Prior to Riegl he was Principal of a specialty distributor, LDC, Inc that focused on measuring devices. James has a combination BA/BS from the schools of Business and Liberal Arts at Marquette University. He is a member of MAPPS, ASPRS, SPIE, USGIF, IAFSM and serves on the LiDAR Subcommittee. In the past, Van Rens has also been an active member of the IEEE/AIAG, JIT effort and was a contributor to the Packaging and Containerization Standards. Mr. Van Rens has over 17 years of experience in the Laser Industry and over 31 years of successful sales and marketing experience.
