Profile Summary

I study leukocyte dynamics in human skin blood vessels by noninvasive reflectance confocal video microscopy, as well as the cutaneous morphology of skin. My research experience includes diffuse reflectance spectroscopy, multispectral and hyperspectral imaging, and multiphoton microscopy for diagnosis of skin with applications mainly in dermatology such as early detection of skin cancer, estimation of the age of bruises, estimation of chromophore concentration and water content in skin.
