Dr. Dharmendra Pratap Singh

Currently, Dharmendra Pratap Singh is working as postdoctoral researcher with Prof. R. Douali in Systèmes moléculaires pour applications électroniques et électro-optiques group at unité de dynamique et structure des matériaux moléculaires (UDSMM), Université du Littoral Côte d'Opale, Calais, France. He completed his Ph. D. under the supervision of Prof. Rajiv Manohar at liquid crystal research laboratory, Department of Physics, University of India in 2016. He has also worked as Raman-Charpak fellow under the mentorship of Prof. A. Daoudi at Unité de Dynamique et Structure des Matériaux Moléculaires, Université du Littoral Côte d'Opale, Dunkerque, France. He has also worked as Senior Research Fellow (CSIR & DST) in the department of Physics, Lucknow University, Lucknow (India). He completed his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degree from the Lucknow University. His areas of interest are Thermotropic and Lyotropic Liquid Crystals, Liquid Crystal-Nanomaterial Composite System, Graphene/Graphene oxide/reduced graphene oxide, Quantum dots, Oxide/sulphide nanoparticles, Ionic Liquids, Energy materials and energy storage, Photovoltaic applications, Opto-electronic & Electro-optic devices including applications in electronic & optical application, Dielectric and ferroelectric materials. He has published more than 42 research articles in internationally indexed journals. He has also been awarded by Young Researcher in 2012 by Indian Liquid Crystal Society, SPIE early career award in ICAMP-2013 at Cambridge University, UK. He has also been awarded by prestigious Raman-Charpak fellowship, a doctoral student exchange program between India and France, in 2014. He is also recipient of liquid crystal beauty artist of July 2015. He has won best paper award at IMID-2015 at Daegu, South Korea by Korean Information Display Society. He is also awarded by “ISCA Young Scientist Award” by Indian Science Congress in 2017.
