Profile Summary

I gained my PhD working in Prof. Andy Beeby's Lab at Durham University, graduating in January 2018. The project involved measuring the time-resolved evanescent wave fluorescence anisotropy of industrially-relevant fluors on model surface materials. In an additional, privately-funded side project I lay the software foundations for the current imaging analysis capabilities of the group, with applications in the analysis of ancient manuscripts.

I've since started a 3-year Knowledge Transfer Partnership with Dr Kate Nicholson of Northumbria University, working on industrial imaging and remote sensing systems. The structure of the current project is such that the developed technology will have additional applications in non-destructive, non-contact analysis of ancient manuscripts for conservation science.
