Dr. Ambra Giannetti

Ambra Giannetti received the Laurea degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology from the University of Pisa, Italy, in 2001. She got the PhD in Medical Physiopathology and Pharmacology at the University of Pisa, in 2005. She spent her first period of the PhD, at CNR, Institute of Clinical Physiology, Pisa (January 2002–August 2003), then she was at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory, TN, USA (September 2003–July 2004) and at present she is at the Institute of Applied Physics, Florence, Italy. Her research activity is focused on the study and development of optical biosensors and biosurfaces including protein and DNA treatment for preparation of active surfaces.
