Allie M. Baker

Allie Baker became employed by Chicago Aerial Industries, Inc. in 1957 and transferred to the Pacific Optical Division in 1964 and 1971. The company was later renamed Recon Optical, Inc. Allie moved up to a position of Vice President-Chief Scientist-Director of Engineering prior to its acquisition by Goodrich ISR Systems in 2008. His work has been primarily in the design and manufacture of optical systems for military and commercial applications. Notable product areas include long-focal length, diffraction-limited optics and refractive lenses with reduced chromatic errors.
