Richard Su graduated from the University of Texas in Austin with a Bachelor of Science in 2007 and a PhD at the University of Houston in 2021, both in Biomedical Engineering. Almost 15 years in in the optoacoustic/photoacoustic field where he has been involved in a variety of optoacoustic tasks such as phantom design, in vitro and in vivo imaging, 2-D real-time and 3-D tomography imaging, prototype design, and system characterization and testing.
