Towards Czech national research infrastructure for Clock Network Services
Abstract
Article summarizes past and continuous development, and especially current state of Czech national research infrastructure for Clock Network Services and future development plans. The focus is on used transmission means and stabilization techniques, available and planned wavelength bands and also plans for geographic extensions.

Josef Vojtech receivedPhD in the field of all-optical networking from the Czech Technical University, Prague in 2009. He is active in the field of photonics networks since 2003 and has been responsible for development of family of open photonic devices; he holds 13 patents (including 5 US) and multiple utility models. Now he lead research department of Optical networks CESNET a.l.e. His record shows 140+ scientific publications. He participated in international projects: CLONETS, COMPLETE, FI-PPP XIFI, GN4, GN3+, GN3, GN2, Porta Optica Study, SEEFIRE. He is a senior member of IEEE, OSA, SPIE and member of ION. In 2007 he with Miroslav Karásek and Jan Radil received the research prize of the Czech minister of education.
