This issue dives deep into the research and technology of the infrared wavelength, and explores applications in ecology, autonomous vehicles, and biomimetics.

What happened to SPIE Professional?

After 14 years, the SPIE Professional quarterly magazine is discontinued. Starting in January 2020, SPIE Members will receive the bimonthly magazine Photonics Focus as a membership benefit instead of SPIE Professional. The increased frequency will enable SPIE to deliver more timely information about technology developments and news relevant to the community. SPIE Professional archives can be read on our website.
