A typical work day
My typical day includes determining new areas for scientifi c research, teaching in the classroom, working with my research group, and mentoring high school and undergraduate students. I also spend time writing proposals, building research networks, reading scientifi c texts and journals, and contributing to university and community service projects.

What I enjoy most
I enjoy working with my research group at UCLA, building research
networks, and university and community service the most.
