About the Instructor

Colleen O'Laughlin is the Manager of Education and Training at General Electric’s Global Research Center. Colleen provides leadership for the Edison Engineering Development Program and Advanced Courses in Engineering for GE. She leads Fundamentals for Technologists in the United States, Europe, and Asia and leads GE's technology portal to highlight technologists across the company.

Prior to coming to the Research Center, Colleen led the Edison Engineering Development Program for GE Aviation based out of Cincinnati, OH. She provided leadership for the Aviation program in the United States, India, Mexico, and Poland.

Colleen graduated from Clarkson University with a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelors of Science in Interdisciplinary Engineering and Management. She completed a Masters of Science in Engineering Management at the Gordon Institute at Tufts University.
