Council of Scientific Society Presidents meets

Current, past, and future presidents of SPIE are active in the Council of Scientific Society Presidents (CSSP), which met in Washington, D.C., in December 2011 to discuss the key role scientific societies play in communicating the importance of science to legislators and the public.
