SPIE Professional Letter to the Editor

Dog Ate His Homework

An SPIE member whose dog ate his copy of SPIE Professional magazine inquires about getting a replacement copy.

Dear Editor,

Sorry to bother you. Is there any way to download (or otherwise receive) the article 'Talk to Me' which was published in the Jan 2008 'SPIE Professional'?

I had cut the article out to show it to some of my coworkers, but indeed my dog chewed it up beyond recognition. Thanks for any help you can provide.

-Larry, an SPIE member with a BAD dog.

PS: My dog is not really bad but has developed a distinct interest in photonics and 'digests' everything he can having to do with it.

Dear Larry,

Your dog sounds like a real news hound.

We'd be pleased to send you another copy of the January 2008 issue. You can also view Kit Brown's article on Virtual Collaboration, and all the other feature articles in the magazine, online.

We'd love to hear what your coworkers had to say about the piece.

--Kathy Sheehan, Managing Editor
