    Your Membership, your way

Your individual Membership provides access to important information, useful tools, and the opportunity to connect with a powerful network of colleagues. We invite you to take advantage of the opportunities that will benefit you the most.

    Get involved with the Society

Join an SPIE Committee and develop strategic policy for the Society, and make recommendations to the Board of Directors. The collective talents of our Members make SPIE a powerful force in the scientific community.

Advocacy allows you to become informed about public policy issues in the science community, get involved in the legislative process, and help shape US technology policy. Volunteer to make congressional visits, be part of export control working groups, or work with the National Photonics Initiative.
