Celebrating decades of innovation
Join the SPIE Photonics Europe community as we celebrate 20 years of gathering leaders and innovators in advancing optics and photonics technologies. SPIE Optical Systems Design also shares a 32 year milestone having held its first meeting in 1992.

Please consider sending in photographs from either of these events to info@spieeurope.org
as we prepare to share these memories in a slide show onsite.

Don't miss the "Light Interference"—an art-science photonics exhibition onsite in Strasbourg

Monday 8 April from 10:00 to Wednesday 10 April 17:00
Following the success of past light-based exhibits we are announcing the 2024 show: "Light Interference"

A look at the different ways in which light can "interfere" with matter, a central theme of SPIE Photonics Europe, bringing together art and research and raising fundamental questions of how we understand physical phenomena and how they can be used to tackle some of today's challenges in society.  Learn more.

The exhibition is organized by Christine Montgomery in collaboration with ICube and SPIE.

Enjoy the following onsite

  • Plenary talks
  • Technical presentations
  • Courses
  • Poster sessions
  • Social and networking events
  • Photonics Marketplace
  • And two free exhibitions
