Open during registration hours

Attendees from Mainland China report to the COS registration desk to register, check-in, and pick up badges and event materials. International attendees will register, check-in, and pick up badges at the SPIE registration desk.

Registration payments

If you are planning to register onsite, please do so at the “Need to Register” laptop station.

    • Your credit card payment will be processed during registration.
    • If you wish to pay with cash or check, you will be directed to the Cashier once you have completed registration for final payment.

If you have already registered and wish to add a course, workshop, or special event, you may do this online by signing into your SPIE account.

Receipt and Certificate of Attendance

Preregistered attendees who need an SPIE-stamped receipt or attendees who need a Certificate of Attendance may obtain those at the Cashier.

Badge Corrections

Badge corrections can be made at the Cashier. Please mark your badge with your changes before approaching the counter.

Refund information for international attendees

There is a US$50 service charge for processing refunds for international attendee registrations. Requests for international registration refunds must be received by SPIE on or before 5 October 2023; all registration fees will be forfeited after this date. SPIE Membership dues, SPIE Digital Library subscriptions, or special events purchased are not refundable. Please see the COS registration desk or contact COS directly for information about the refund policy for Mainland China attendees.

Speaker upload and preview

Saturday-Monday

All conference rooms have a computer workstation, projector, screen, lapel microphone, and laser pointer. All presenters are requested to upload and test their presentations to the computer in the conference room where they will be presenting, either before the conference begins, or during one of the session breaks.

Poster setup instructions

  • Presentation is required for publication
  • Poster authors set up presentations between 10:00 and 13:00 on 15-October
  • Posters that are not set up by 13:00 may be marked as a no-show by staff
  • Any presentation marked as a no-show will not be published (poster or manuscript) in the conference proceedings.

Complimentary tea and coffee will be served in the halls during the conference breaks.
