SPIE Optics + Optoelectronics 2021
The European conference that plays host to the most recent advances in laser technology worldwide. This is where leading researchers, engineers and programme managers share their latest results highlighting the technologies that drive Europe's most exciting advances in photonics, and enable the most ambitious extreme light projects.   

As we plan for an in-person meeting next year, we recognize that travel conditions are uncertain. SPIE remains committed to providing a forum for information sharing, collaboration, and advancing research that is vital to our community.

If we determine that we are unable to host an onsite meeting, we will host this event online as a Digital Forum. Please join your community and contribute to our shared effort to improve the global condition for everyone. Find our COVID-19 Policy here.

It is also host to the ELI beamlines facility which utilizes high-power, high-repetition-rate lasers for high-field physics experiments. It is the first international laser user facility of its kind.
