The ELI Beamlines Facility

An added attraction is the highly regarded ELI Beamlines Facility near Prague. Take this opportunity to hear first-hand the new developments in intense laser-matter interactions and Petawatt photonics, triggered and motivated by the Extreme Light Infrastructure, as well as interact with the researchers and academics that are part of this ground-breaking research.

ELI Beamlines Facility is multi-functional and designed to serve researchers specializing in laser science, but also in areas of material science, engineering, nanotechnology, medicine, biology, chemistry, astrophysics and others.

In 2018 the facility opened for user experiments. In line with the recommendations of the European Union and the European Strategic Forum for Research Infrastructures, the ELI beamline facility will enforce an open access policy for researchers, irrespective of their country or institution of origin.
