Bellingham, Washington, February 7, 2007- SPIE, a Bellingham-based scientific society, is pleased to announce the recent hiring of Bradley Ferguson and Marci Hanson as members of the financial and accounting management team.
Brad Ferguson has been named the SPIE Director of Finance. With nearly 20 years of increased accounting and management responsibility, Ferguson is a welcome addition to the SPIE team. A CPA and CMA, Ferguson obtained a BA in accounting from the University of Washington, and an MBA with a concentration in Information Technology from Seattle University.
Marci Hanson has assumed the position of Accounting Manager. She has proven accounting skills as evidenced by her successful professional background at several local businesses. Hanson, a CPA, holds a BA in accounting from Western Washington University.
Both hires come as a result of recent retirements and reorganization within the financial and accounting areas of the organization.
