SPIE Maiman Laser Award

The SPIE Maiman Laser Award is presented for the first time in 2020. This award is named in honor of Theodore H. Maiman, a physicist and engineer who is widely credited with the invention of the laser.  This award is presented in recognition of sustained contributions to laser source science and technology at the highest levels. Honorarium of $2,000 presented annually.
