2017 SPIE Women in Optics Planner
Dr. Kyle J. Myers, U.S. Food and Drug Administration |
Since 2005, SPIE has issued a planner that highlights women in optics and photonics, the areas of emphasis of SPIE, as well as in other science and technology careers. What a great way to showcase the talent in our community! I hope you enjoy hearing from these women about their careers and their personal stories. Each story is unique, expressing the wonderful breadth of backgrounds and experiences of the many women in STEM fields. You'll find that they all have this in common: They are passionate about what they do, working to make a real difference in the world in the many ways a career in science and technology enables them to do. |
