Halina Rubinsztein-DunlopA typical work day.
A typical day for me consists of a lot of meetings with staff and students. I work with my PhD students to plan new experiments, papers, and reports. We also go to the lab and see what new things are happening there.

What I enjoy most.
Starting a new fi eld of research and driving it forward is rewarding. But what I enjoy the most is meeting my PhD students and discussing their projects. Brainstorming new ideas and coming up with plans for new experiments make my day. These activities are highly inspirational and productive. The motivation that I get from the new generation of scientists is absolutely fantastic and empowering.

Words of wisdom.
Believe that you can achieve what you set out to do, that nobody will stop you, and that people will try to help you. Be determined and passionate about what you do.
