Paper Abstract

A monolithic digital Hadamard transform device is used to reduce complexity in a real-time video data compression system. The Video Data Processor (VIDAP) system is designed to permit variable frame rates, sampling resolutions, and compression ratios. Versatility is incorporated through a modular design which permits tailoring to meet a wide range of video data link applications. Emphasis has been placed on a low cost, low power design suitable for airborne systems.
