Paper Abstract
A theoretical model of Ar-N2 laser pumped by high-energy electron or proton beam is characterized. The generation at the wavelength of 357. 7 nm was considered. The most important results of computer calculations are described. Electron and proton beam generated at plasma focus device and 200 keV electron beam were considered as a pump. For pumping by protons the calculated efficiency of generation exceeded 8% and maximum power density of radiation was some hundreds of MW/cm2.
