Paper Abstract

The performance of a liquid crystal light valve (LCLV) is studied experimentally. The effects of applied voltage across the LCLV, its driven frequencies and the input polarization of the reading light are investigated for both the liquicLtrystal (LC) being in the 45° and in the 90° twisted modes.
