Paper Abstract

A fully computerized, multipass Fabry-Perot interferometer has been used to study Brillouin scattering from liquids, contained in a precision high-pressure cell. Measured hypersonic sound velocity as function of external pressure (up to ~1,000 Bars) is reported.
